Rarotonga, Cook Islands

Rarotongo, Cook Islands

A new postcard for a change that I received recently from Rarotongo, Cook Islands,

The reverse of the card says: Rarotonga, Cook Islands: The major island of Rarotongo is completely encircled by reefs creating beautiful sage lagoons. This island of volcanic origin rises 600 metres (2000 feet) and is inhabited only around the coastal belt. Avarua is the capital and port.
